Entry Deadline:
Your State meet! Be prepared to turn in entry forms and checks to your State Chairman at the conclusion of the last session of your state meet. Coaches are responsible for accurate information of each athlete (i.e., age group, USAG number, correct spelling, etc.) Age is determined by age of gymnast on September 1, 2009. Age Groups per USAG Rules and Policies

Program Advertisement Space: We are offering advertisement space for the 2010 Region 5 Levels 6-10 Men’s Regional Meet program. You can send a personal message, with or without a picture, to your favorite gymnast or team. Space is also available for business advertisement.

Attire for Coaches:
Coaches are required to wear professional attire at all times. Violators may be asked to leave the floor.
Professional attire consists of:
*Closed toed shoes – no sandals or flip-flops
*Slacks, warm-up pants or hemmed shorts. NO denim
*Collared shirts
*NO hats or caps on the competition floor
Attire for Gymnasts:
A verbal warning will be given for the first infraction and an“unsportsmanlike conduct” deduction will be taken for all subsequent violations.
All gymnasts must….
*Wear appropriate attire during warm-ups. Shirts and competition
jerseys must be worn at all times.
*Wear FIG specified competition apparel, including an FIG-approved competition jersey, solid color competition pans/shorts and appropriate footwear for use between events.
*Any and all jewelry is forbidden, per USAG Age Group competition rules and regulations.
*Gymnasts must wear team warm-ups to take part in awards ceremonies.
Regional T-Shirts:
Your personalized Regional T-shirt or sweatshirt will be available for purchase at the meet.
Awards:
Individual awards in the following categories:
level 6 age 8,9, 10,11, 12 and up
level 7 age 10-11, 12 and up
level 8 age 11-13, 14-15
level 9 age 12-13, 14-15, 16-18
level 10 age 14-15, 16-18
Team awards will be based on the top 3 scores on each event.
Team awards in the following categories:
level 6 age 8-9, 10-11, 12 and up
level 7 age 10-11, 12 and up
level 8 age 11-13, 14-15
level 9 age 12-13, 14-18
level 10 age 14-15, 16-18
Trophies to the top three teams in each age level above.
There will be combined team trophies for all five levels.

Level 9-10 gymnasts and coaches should come to Regionals prepared to write checks and fill out registration forms for your Level 9 and 10 athletes who have qualified to the National Championships. At the end of your appropriate session you will know if you have qualified.
The top 6 All-Around from each class will compose the Regional Team with the 7th place gymnast as alternate. These young men will need to be measured for team uniforms afterwards. The measurements will be taken as you turn in your registration for Nationals
